Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Modern Day Coach (“MDC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, membership experience, programs, and related services.
Effective date: July 31, 2026
1. Who we are
Modern Day Coach provides structured baseball player-development systems, educational content, coaching resources, local programs, and related member experiences for parents, players, coaches, teams, and organizations.
The member experience may be delivered through UniteHQ, the technology platform that powers parts of the MDC product. When you create an account, complete onboarding, or use messaging and planning tools, some information is processed in that platform environment as needed to deliver the service.

2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account and contact details such as name, email address, phone number, and login credentials
- Player profile information you choose to submit, such as age or age group, position, experience level, and parent-entered skill ratings
- Organization or team details when you enroll as a coach, staff member, or league administrator
- Messages you send to MDC staff, coaches, or support through the platform or email
- Program interest, registration, and related event information for offseason or local offerings
- Billing and purchase details needed to process memberships or program fees
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data such as browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, and approximate location derived from IP address
- Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that help the site function, remember preferences, and understand traffic patterns
- Diagnostic logs and security events that help us operate and protect the service
Information from third parties
- Payment processors and membership platforms that confirm transactions and account status
- Organization administrators who invite you into a team, league, or program roster
- Analytics or hosting providers that support website performance and reliability
Starting player profiles and skill ratings submitted during onboarding are provided by parents or authorized adults. They create a structured starting point and should not be treated as an independent professional evaluation unless MDC expressly states otherwise for a specific service.
3. How we use information
- Provide, personalize, and improve the MDC website, membership hub, and programs
- Generate and display development plans, focus areas, drills, practice frameworks, and related educational tools
- Communicate about accounts, onboarding, support, schedules, and product updates
- Enable messaging between members and MDC staff or organization roles
- Process payments, prevent fraud, and maintain account security
- Operate league, team, and program rollouts, including invite links and staff visibility needed for implementation
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
- Analyze aggregated or de-identified usage to improve the product and user experience
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information in these situations:
- Service providers. Vendors that help us host the website, deliver the member platform (including UniteHQ), process payments, send communications, provide analytics, or support operations—under obligations appropriate to the service
- Organizations you join. If you participate through a team, league, or program, authorized coaches and administrators may see membership, onboarding, and activity information needed to run that organization experience
- With your direction. When you ask us to share information or use a feature that necessarily discloses it
- Legal and safety. When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of MDC, our users, or others
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections
5. Children and youth players
Modern Day Coach is designed for families and organizations supporting youth baseball players. Accounts and memberships are intended to be created and managed by parents, legal guardians, or authorized coaches/administrators—not by children acting alone.
If you submit information about a minor, you represent that you are a parent, guardian, or authorized adult with authority to provide that information for the purposes described in this policy. If you believe we have collected information from a child without appropriate authorization, contact us at info@modern-day-coach.com and we will take appropriate steps.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our providers may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure site performance, and understand how visitors use the website. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the services, maintain accounts, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, and operational requirements. Retention periods may vary based on account status, organization relationships, and the type of information involved.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong password and keep your credentials confidential.
9. Your choices and rights
