Consistent Vocabulary
Use the same clear language across practices, coaches, age groups, and conversations.
About Modern Day Coach
Modern Day Coach was created to replace scattered instruction with a clear system coaches, parents, and players can understand and repeat.
Why we exist
Player development often becomes a collection of disconnected lessons, cues, exercises, and opinions. MDC organizes development around consistent language, clear expectations, structured practice design, and work that can be observed.
The objective is not to make baseball more complicated. It is to help people identify what matters and create an environment where improvement can happen repeatedly.

The C.O.R.E. principles
Process labels stay live on the site—organized, measurable, and intentional—so the method can evolve with the player.
Use the same clear language across practices, coaches, age groups, and conversations.
Coach what can be seen, repeated, discussed, and improved—not vague effort alone.
Create repeatable environments that make high-quality work easier to deliver.
Help players understand the game by asking better questions and listening to their answers.
